Can I play Blu-ray DVD movies on Toshiba Thrive?

But how can you copy Blu-ray/DVD movies onto Toshiba Thrive for playback? Follow this guide please:

Step 1: Free download and install the Blu-ray Ripper as Blu-ray to Toshiba Thrive Converter
Load Blu-ray disc or folder through “BD/DVD ROM” or “BD/DVD Folder” botton. You can preview movie titles or select definite titles for conversion.
When the DVD is loaded, you can select subtitles and audio track (English, French, German, Spanish…) for each chapter. Forced subtitles can be attained, too. Expand the DVD folder to check movie clips. If you would like to combine all the selected chapters into one file, check the box of “Merge into one file”.
Step 2: Choose output format for Toshiba Thrive
Click the pull down menu at the opposite side of “Format”, Here we suggest you use “Common Video”>> “H.264 Video (*.mp4)”, because H.264 provides good video quality at substantially lowest bit rates.
Step 3: Set A/V parameters of output video format
Click on “Settings” button, and you are allowed to adjust video and audio parameters including codec, Size, bit rate, frame rate, sample rate, and audio channels on the popup window as below. Here you can follow the following optimized video setting for Toshiba Thrive:
Step 4: Start to rip and convert Blu-ray movie
Click “Convert” botton to start Conversion from Blu-ray DVD to Toshiba Thrive. You can find the output file through “Open” option after conversion. Then you can transfer movie file onto Toshiba Thrive with USB cable, and watch Blu-ray/DVD movie on Toshiba Thrive.
